God in His sovereign plan extended his grace towards me by opening my eyes to the truth of His gospel during my teen years. I loved growing up in my home country, the Dominican Republic, and rejoice because of the grace God showed to me as a young child. Shortly after my salvation, as I began to learn and study the scriptures, the Lord undoubtedly put in my heart an unquenchable desire to serve Him full time. It was then when God opened a door for me to work on a Bible degree at Northland Baptist Bible College, now Northland International University. Being from another country and culture brought challenges that the Lord used to strengthen my character and my walk with Him. Four and half years later I received my bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies. I also left Northland with my eye on the girl who would eventually become my wife. Jennifer graduated from Northland in 2010 and we were married in May of 2011.
I currently serve as a Pastoral Assistant at Calvary Baptist Church in Joliet where I oversee the Spanish ministry. My desire is to reach out to the Hispanic community of Joliet with the gospel. My wife Jennifer and I minister together at Calvary. We as a family have a burden for the Dominican Republic where one day we would like to serve as the Lord leads.
